ConnectOS’ training module can be seen as the software’s learning platform. It is a collection of different training modules which have to be done and answered by every employee. So it can be guarantied that every employee knows how to act and behave in all sorts of different situations.

1. where and how to create a new training course
ConnectOS has an integrated training platform, which contains individual courses, so called modules. These can be found in the left menu bar under the category training. When selecting the modules category you are immediately met with a list of all already existing courses. By clicking + in the top right corner of the upper menu bar, a new module can be created. A module can be considered as the parent folder which contains multiple sets. One single set can be seen as one single training. A new set is created in the same way a module is – just click + in the top right corner of the menu bar.

2. creating training questions
If you have created a new set, it should be filled with fitting questions. Once again, these can be added by clicking + in the top right corner of the menu bar. The first thing that has to be defined is the the type of question that will be asked. This could be a simple tag question or something like multiple choice. Of course the question needs a name, which serves as the subject. It should describe in which direction the question is heading. Right underneath the name field is the text box where the question can be asked. Of course there is the option to add an appendix either by or . In the bottom half of the window the option add settings can be found. By clicking that you can phrase potential answers and by marking individual ones you can define them as the correct answer.

Of course it can be defined when and how often a question will be asked. In order to be sure that every employee takes part in all the important trainings, you have the option to decide for every single question individually whether it is obligated or not. This works by activating the option force user to answer after login. If there is a question that is particularly important and should therefore be answered over and over again in regular intervals, the option allow multiple submissions has to be activated. The time interval in which the question should be repeated can be set right beneath in the box repetition interval (in days).

When you are authorized to administer in the module category you are allowed insight into the results of every training. You can see how many employees have answered the questions correctly, who has already finished the training and the mistakes that were made.
