The password manager is integrated in every team. Every employee has automatically access to it, the minute they become part of that particular team. In addition to that every employee has their own personal password manager. Access points, user names and passwords can be saved in one compact file, so all the important access data is fast and easily accessible for everyone.

1. creating a new password entry
The password manager can be found in the left menu bar. By clicking onto it you open the submenu that contains your personal and the team based password managers, which u can choose from. By clicking the + in the top right corner a new password entry can be created. Now all you have to do is to define what this password is for and the URL that leads to the access point. Only thing left to set is the user name and the password. Of course there is also the option to add a note with additional information.

Not only is it possible to save already existing or thought up passwords within ConnectOS’ password manager, by clicking it is possible to generate one right away. Here you can define what types of glyphs should be included as well as the password’s length.
An other feature included in ConnectOS’ password manager is the option to define whether you want to create a new password or a new folder. This selection can be found under the option called types. Depending on the chosen one the settings menu changes accordingly. Due to this setting it is possible to achieve more structure within the password entries.
If the password is saved the URL can be opened by simply clicking on . By clicking on the username or the password can be copied without any additional steps.

For an employee to have access to a team based password manager they have to become a member of the particular team first in order to be granted authority. In the menu bar left these options can be set in the category HR > employees or HR > teams. Choose the employee of interest and open the submenu AUTHORIZATION in the top menu bar of the opened tab. Or choose the team of interest in the teams category and add a new employee to the team by simply clicking ADD MEMBER. This option can be found under the category USER. When using the second approach just described, the submenu AUTHORIZATION has to be opened too afterwards.
In those settings it can be defined to which company department and to what extend the employee or an entire team has access to. Here can be differentiated between READ, WRITE and ADMINISTER. In between all the available modules the PASSWORD MANAGER and its submenus can be found as well.
